I finally made it back to the BANFF Mountain FIlm Festival World Tour this past week here in Portland. I was first exposed to BANFF at UCSB where I had planned on attending two nights of the screening, but an Emergency Room visit with one of the basketball players kept me from making it the second night.

I went to two out of three nights here in Portland and thoroughly enjoyed it. The films were magnificent! One film in particular introduced me to an Australian photographer that I had not heard of; Murray Fredricks. The film was awesome and the images that he produced during this project are simply breathtaking and awe inspiring. I added his website into the links section. Be sure to check them out.
